Beautiful code
Today, I stumbled on a Google Tech Talk video where Jon Bentley talks about three implementations of Quicksort. Apparently it was his contribution to the book Beautiful Code (O'Reilly). His chapter is called The Most Beautiful Code I Never Wrote. There are several interesting chapter titles and all author royalties are donated to Amnesty International.
I am *so* ordering this book.

That was a great talk on quicksort. Thanks for mentioning it.
Yeah, I thought so as well. I wrote a quicksort implementation in C (a long long time ago) when I was at university, but it was nowhere near as clean as what he presented.
