As of today, the G1G1 program of OLPC has started. Unfortunately the program is only intended for USA and Canada but there are ways to get them to Europe (and elsewhere) so I may just have to order one (for Eowyn of course). $400 is only about 2500 SEK so it's definitely worth it even if the shipping will cost loads.
